[This was ridiculous...]
[Sonic found himself wondering away from New Bark Town. He didn't know where he was or what kind of people lived there but he wanted no part of it. If they were anything like that weird lady (who, by the way, claimed to be his MOM), there was no point in sticking around.]
[Tucked under his arm was a dopey Slowpoke, the one that had come out of that weird red and white contraption (which was probably built by that egghead Robuttnik). He was looking for a place where he could safely put the poor, dumb critter before dashing off to properly investigate this strange place. Looking up the tall trees that surrounded him, he already had a pretty good idea of where he was going to be looking out from. Trees always gave him a pretty sweet vantage point.]
[But before doing that...]
[With his other hand, Sonic reached into his pocket and withdrew his brand new PokeGear... Which he had already dropped twice. Opening it back up and turning on the video, he had it look at himself, examining his new human face again. Though what he didn't realize was that he was recording what he was doing... He felt very uncomfortable looking at himself, but he couldn't look away. How could he possibly be turned human?? Did Eggman do this to him? Why?]
[Either way, when he saw Eggman again, he was going to get him GOOD.]
Slloooowwww.
[Sonic stopped looking into the 'phone' and turned his attention to the long-tailed pig he held, looking somewhat annoyed.]
Is that all you ever say?
[It didn't look up, only straight ahead. Sonic followed it's 100-mile gaze and stopped walking when he noticed that they were about to stroll into some tall grass. Oh! Maybe he could put the pig here! The grass was tall enough for it to hide, it was perfect!]
[He walked right in and made it to the center, putting the pig down.]
There you go, little buddy! You stay out of sight, ok?
[It stood there.]
[...]
... Aaaalright then. Later, dude. I guess.
[Sonic turned around to move on but felt his foot step on something, a large SQUAK following. Immediately he lifted his foot and looked down, realizing he had stepped on what looked to be a bird. Before he had the chance to apologize, it flew into the air, turned, and took a dive at him.]
AHH!
[He ducked out of it's way, but it just came back, diving again and again and again.]
HEY! STOP! I didn't mean to walk on ya, dude!
[After a few dives, it came down and fluttered around him, pecking and pulling on him.]
Ow! Cut it out! I'm sorry, ok?!
[Sonic tried waving his still recording 'Gear around, trying to get the bird to stay back. But it still didn't let up, not even close to intimidated by the poor human.]
[And all this time, the Slowpoke stood there, watching, seemingly not taking any of the current situation in.]

Date: 2014-02-08 07:55 pm (UTC)[The Sand Attack ended and Sonic seized the opportunity to point his 'Gear at the Slowpoke.]
Slowpoke, the Dopey Pokemon. It is always vacantly lost in thought, but no one knows what it is thinking about. It is good at fishing with its tail.
... You've got to be kidding me.
[The sand started to pick back up again, not giving Sonic enough time to look at the Gear for the Slowpoke's specific moves.]
Uh, UH! UM! Too Slow! Do something! ANYTHING!
[The newly deemed Too Slow stood there for a few moments, it's brain slowly registering it was being talked to. As soon as it figured out it had been addressed, it's mouth opened wide, taking in a really slow, deep breath.
When it finally exhaled it's Yawn, a steady white puff of air moved over to the Pidgey and hit it. The sand attack disappeared again as the bird became pretty sluggish, looking tired. It then landed, unable to keep itself up in the air.
Sonic looked over to the Pidgey, unsure of what was happening or what to do next.]
... Is it ok?

You could catch it now, if you wanted. Or just leave it where it is and walk away.
[If it were her, it would be Option B]
It should be fine after it sleeps, and even if it isn't, nothing can die in this place.

Date: 2014-02-12 10:36 pm (UTC)[Was she kidding him, here? Animals, Pokemon, or whatever deserved freedom. It was WAY not cool to take that away. So Sonic decided to definitely go with walking away.
... Then the girl on the other end said something... Particularly interesting.]
Nothing dies??
[... Oh geesh, was he already dead?? A slight expression of panic crossed Sonic's face, trying not to jump to that conclusion... But it was hard not to.]
W-what do you mean?
Date: 2014-02-12 10:55 pm (UTC)[The way she explains it, it's almost as if this ought to be common knowledge.]
Humans and pokemon have lived alongside each other so long in this place, apparently, that they've come to depend on one another. If a wild pokemon goes out of its way to attack you, it's usually testing you to see if you're worthy of making it your partner.
[Thinking it over, she allows] Sometimes they're just out to give people a hard time, though. Especially the ghost-types.
But like I said, as long as you're here, nothing can kill you, and you can't kill anything. It's a different game board from where we've all come from. Are you familiar with the idea of kakera?
[Because...that would make explaining this a lot easier, if he happened to be. By now, she's not especially hopeful]

Date: 2014-02-27 10:26 pm (UTC)[Sonic scratched his head as the girl explained to him exactly what kind of world he was in... A lot of it didn't make much sense to him, though... Especially the whole "you can't die" thing. That was great and all, but things do die eventually, as sad as that is.]
Uhh, I think you're reading too far into why the bird attacked me. I just stepped on it by accident.
[He seemed a little embarrassed by it, looking away from the screen for a moment in awkwardness as he kept scratching his head.]
I don't understand why things can't die in this, uh... World, I guess. It's good, but it seems impossible. What about old age? We get older here, right?
