... Then it registered in his brain that the voice sounded kind of hazy, like a transmission... Only shielding himself with his free arm, Sonic pulled the 'Gear towards himself, looking into it.]
H-hello??
[The attacks got worse. All of a sudden, with just the flaps of it's small wings, sand whirled around Sonic.]
Geesh!
[When it started to get in his eyes, he closed them and ducked down as low as he could, curling up as if he were still a Hedgehog.]
