Humans and pokemon have lived alongside each other so long in this place, apparently, that they've come to depend on one another. If a wild pokemon goes out of its way to attack you, it's usually testing you to see if you're worthy of making it your partner.

[Thinking it over, she allows] Sometimes they're just out to give people a hard time, though. Especially the ghost-types.


But like I said, as long as you're here, nothing can kill you, and you can't kill anything. It's a different game board from where we've all come from. Are you familiar with the idea of kakera?
